I am currently managing and building a research team on Messenger at Facebook that's focused on the ads and monetization piece of the product.

I managed the research team for Sales Cloud, which is the CRM product at Salesforce and includes Pardot, a B2B marketing product.

Researcher & Research Manager

Uber

I was the founding member and later the manager for the data research team at Uber. The team focused on building analytics, visualization, real-time monitoring and machine learning products for Uber employees. In addition I kickstarted a research team that focused on self-driving cars.

Researcher & Lead Engineer

General Electric

I was a Collaboration and UX Researcher in the Connected Experience Lab at GE Research in San Ramon. I was part of a team that designed, built and evaluated systems for GE's businesses including (but not restricted to) energy, healthcare and transportation. During this time I also acted as the front-end engineering lead for SmartOutage app. The app is still used by thousands of field engineers to do job scheduling, document management and networking (via a newsfeed).

My brother Ambuj Tewari is an Associate Professor in Statistics at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
